What is a BosonBerry?

The Dog. The Myth. The Legend.

The Tiny Hadron Collider, aka “BOSON”, 2008-2021

BosonBerry Studios is named after the late, great Tiny Hadron Collider (aka Boson), the most fabulous black shih tzu that ever lived. He was named after the theoretical particle that could “break the universe” if created, because he broke the universe of our older dog, shattering his existence as an only child.

Boson was absolutely gorgeous, and eternally chipper, yet fierce when needed. When Jim worked nights, he was my defender from every bump in the night. And I mean EVERY. But when Jim was home, he snored like a chainsaw. He’d completely lose his mind with excitement every time “breakfast” was served. He kept his sunny attitude as he got older, enjoying cuddles from his beloved Jim, before passing away at the age of 12. He had many nicknames, but “BosonBerry” was our favorite.

His spirit lives on in what we do at BosonBerry Studios. We’re SO excited to make ALL THE THINGS. We want everything we create to bring you joy. We want it to be beautiful. And we want to be fiercely devoted to our clients and do our very best. Because that’s what Boson did.
